Who am I ?
Originally from England, I have lived in the French Alps since 1994. My journey to becoming a visual artist has been anything but conventional—shaped by years in the Merchantl Navy and later in the semiconductor industry, I developed a passion for both travel and technology that now fuels my creative process.
Today, I create photographic composite artworks that blend 100-year-old postcards with contemporary photographs of the same locations. Using digital tools and a trained eye, I meticulously align these images to form seamless time-bridging compositions. The resulting works explore the tension and harmony between past and present—revealing how landscapes may remain unchanged, even as our lifestyles and societies evolve around them.
Based in Haute-Savoie, I’ve exhibited widely in the region and continue to build a body of work that acts as both visual storytelling and cultural preservation. Through my lens, viewers are invited to step into the continuity of place—where memory, history, and modern life meet.
